The Bakers jacket is our take on a classic chore jacket. With a design that dates back to the earliest days of Universal Works, it has become one of our signature styles. The name “Bakers” was adopted from our Co-Founder and Designer's father, who wore a simple coverall for his job as a baker. Whilst conforming to the key principles of a chore jacket (a simple utility garment, often worn as a protective layer), our Bakers jacket has several distinctive features; from seams to create the shape, layered pockets and our signature diagonal buttonhole on the button stand. This jacket is a great everyday staple designed to be worn wherever and however you like. Model is 6’0" with a 37" chest and a 30.5" waist, wearing a size ‘Large' top and size ’32' bottoms. A medium weight plain weave with a slubbed yarn which gives the slightly uneven texture. In a mix of linen, for its coolness and breathability, and cotton for a more durable structure. • Regular fit. • Two lower patch pockets. • One chest patch pocket. • Internal pocket. • Fabric Content: 62% Linen, 38% Cotton. • Washcare: Wash at 30 degrees.
