Expertly handcrafted by Wedgwood artisans, this limited-edition coffee cup and saucer brings unproduced samples by celebrated potter Lucie Rie, to life.  Coloured in Jasper blue, with white inlays, each cup and saucer are formed by hand then high-fired to create a matte, tactile finish. The proceeds from these pieces will support the newly formed Lucie Rie and Hans Coper Foundation, which aims for long-term accessibility, digitisation and preservation of archival material.  A grant making scheme will be established to promote academic and creative scholarships. A tribute to legacy and innovation, a continuation of Lucie Rie’s vision.
